Wantek® h313 stereo 2.5mm headset for phone

Very hard to understand audio.

Just what I needed.

This headset is very attractive, callers are extremely clear to me, and I've been told by everyone I've asked that I sound "crystal clear."

Next on the importance list is comfort. When I first put it on, it felt so comfortable I'm pretty sure I let out an audible "ooooooo." But then, it didn't take long on one ear, I mean 10 minutes tops, for the discomfort to start setting in on the earpiece side -- the other side never bothers me at all. If left too long on one ear, discomfort actually turns to pain. Fortunately, it's extremely quick to flip it around and change ears, go another 10-15 minutes, and repeat as necessary. I'm not on constantly so take it off between every call. Disclaimer - I do have a good size noggin, which very well plays a part in that, though I suspect unless you get the old fashioned big ones like we used to use for stereos decades ago (and are still available), you're going to experience this same thing no matter how large or small your head.

Mute and volume (it's on the cord, not the headset itself) - I use my phone exclusively for this so it's not important to me. I have the headset volume turned all the way up and control the rest via phone. I read at least one other reviewer complain about the headset mute working only while you press it as opposed to toggle on/toggle off style, but since I use my phone anyway, it doesn't impact me either way.

All in all this bad boy gets 4 stars from me, only dinging 1 for the comfort since I'm not convinced any one of this style is going to be much better.

Now if only someone would make one that sounds this good that you could wear for an hour or more with no discomfort, one that also has a high quality retraction mechanism for the cord, I would then say that cord utopia had been found. If any of you know of such a thing, oh goodness, please let me know! :-)
